Synopsis

"Discover the power of love."

Three strangers of two generations join each other on a road trip through Louisiana, some time after hurricane Katrina ripped through the state. As they travel together, talking, their relationships with each other interact and change which results in the possibility of second chances at love and life.

Loosely based on a short story by renowned writer Peter Hamill, THE YELLOW HANDKERCHIEF is ultimately a love story and stars William Hurt as Brett Hanson. an ex-con who's just served his time (6 years for manslaughter), Maria Bello as May, the woman Brett left behind, and troubled teenagers Martine (Kristen Stewart) and her boyfriend Gordy (Eddie Redmayne).
