Synopsis

May 1938, Kansas.

Digitally restored and re-released THE WIZARD OF OZ set a precedent when it was originally released for its breathtaking extravagance. With a memorable performance from a young Judy Garland, she plays Dorothy, an unhappy girl who is whisked away from her home along with her dog by a violent tornado that tears through Kansas and dumped somewhere she doesn't recognise when the wind drops.

Very much lost she sets out with her dog to find her way home and her journey turns into an adventure when she encounters a tin man, a scatterbrained scarecrow, a cowardly lion, a good witch, a wicked witch, a wizard, flying monkeys and hundreds of Munchkins.
