Synopsis

Set in the cut throat world of English society weddings, Tim’s (Robert Webb) is marrying into Cheshire’s most socially aspiring family and asks his yobbish brother, Raif (Rufus Hound), to be his best man at his wedding to Saskia (Lucy Punch).

While Saskia’s mum Alex (Harriet Walker) has successfully married into life in the ‘Cheshire Set’ otherwise known as the English ‘Beverley Hills’, grandmother Patricia (Miriam Margolyes) is the archetypal socialite snob.

Amidst the escalating chaos of planning their big day and fending off unwanted help, Tim and Sakia begin to wonder whose wedding is it. Meanwhile Raif, although surprised that his once-bohemian brother is marrying into the ‘Cheshire Set’, decides his present to the happy couple will be a video of their wedding.
