Synopsis

Once a cop held in high regard, Detective Max Walker's (Michael Madsen) life falls apart when he loses his wife. Unable to move forward there's a simmering rage building inside him, waiting for a trigger to explode.

Following a drug bust that results in the deaths of several people and allows one gang member to escape, his squad, who discovered the large haul of heroin, come under fire for the way the operation was mishandled. Then Walker and his team; including Salt (Daryl Hannah) and Sampson (Mykelti Williamson) mysteriously become the targets, as the officers involved are being killed off one by one. No cop is safe and when no immediate suspects come to light, a bewildered Walker joins forces with Salt to investigate the slaughter of his team.

A series of twists, intrigue and foul play unfolds as the discovery of missing drugs from the bust increasingly points the finger at the cops themselves... But, which one? Trust is compromised, comradeship dissolves and friends turn their guns against each other until the last man is standing and the truth is revealed.
