Synopsis

While in Berlin, Dr Martin Harris is a passenger in the car his wife, Elizabeth (January Jones) is driving when it veers off a bridge into the water below. Awakening from a coma, he discovers his wife doesn't know him and another man, Martin B (Aidan Quinn) has assumed his identity.

But his nightmare is only just beginning, when disbelieving authorities ignore his pleas for help and instead he finds himself on the run. Pursued by a team of assassins,.he finds himself alone, tired, and unable to comprehend what is happening to his life.

Abroad and in unknown territory at every step, Martin seeks aid from an unlikely and reluctant source (Diane Kruger) as he plunges headlong into a deadly mystery that will force him to question his sanity, his identity, and just how far he's willing to go to uncover the truth.

Contemporary thriller UNKNOWN, is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (ORPHAN) from a screenplay by Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell, and is based on the novel by Didier van Cauwelaert.
