TURISTAS aka PARADISE LOST, directed by John Stockwell (INTO THE BLUE, BLUE CRUSH), is a terrifying adventure thriller starring Josh Duhamel (NBC's LAS VEGAS) and Melissa George (THE AMITYVILLE HORROR, ALIAS).

While backpacking through Brazil, a diverse group of young tourists experience a terrifying bus accident which strands them in a remote Brazilian beach town. The "turistas" themselves consist of Alex (Josh Duhamel), his sister Bea (Olivia Wilde), her best friend Amy (Beau Garrett), an Australian named Pru (Melissa George), and two best friend Brits named Finn and Liam (Desmond Askew and Max Brown).

Enjoying the idyllic setting of white sand beaches and surrounded by luxuriant jungle they gradually become aware of something much more sinister and discover an unsettling secret lurking deep within in its jungles...

Beautifully shot, TURISTAS aka PARADISE LOST is the first American production to shoot entirely in the country of Brazil. The action moves from the lush jungles and heavenly beaches of Ubatuba to the amazing underground and underwater caves near Lencois, which had never been filmed in before.
