Synopsis

Jake Taylor (Randy Wayne) has everything going for him in his life at the moment - friends, fame, a basketball scholarship and a hot girlfriend.

Roger Dawson (Robert Bailey Jr) on the other hand has nothing. No friends, no hope and no dreams, he is constantly putdown and pushed aside.

Jake and Roger had been best friends at kids but high school politics quickly destroyed their friendship. Reaching the depths of depression Roger reached breaking point. He walks onto campus with a gun in his pocket and a heavy heart - wishing life could have been better for him.

When Roger pulls the trigger, Jake's desperate attempt to reach out is too late and tragedy strikes. Jake's world crumbles as he asks himself "Could I have saved Roger?" Looking for answers he reached out to others like Roger but finds that his actions are well received by his friends, his girlfriend and could cost his reputation and dreams.

He ultimately has to find the answer to the climatic question, "What did I want my life to be about?"
