Mixing disco with political allegory and TAXI DRIVER-style psychosis, this uncompromising drama is set in Santiago, Chile, during Pinochet's dictatorship.

Raul Peralta (Alfredo Castro) is middle-aged but is obsessed with John Travolta's SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER character Tony Manero. He fanatically watches the film over and over again and leads a disco troupe in a white suit and stack heels.

When Raul hears about a televised 'Manero' look-alike competition, his obsession completely takes over his life and leads this antihero into some very dark places.
