Synopsis

"He only has 1000 words left to discover what matters most."

Fast talking literary agent Jack McCall (Eddie Murphy) has the gift of the gab when it comes to closing a deal. However, he meets his match when he sets his sights on new age guru Dr Sinja (Cliff Curtis) - for his own selfish reasons. Little does Jack realise Dr Sinja has sussed him out.

Then Jack's life begins to get complicated after a magical tree mysteriously appears in his backyard. Each time he utters a word, a leaf falls from the tree.

Not wanting to find out what will happen when the last leaf falls, Jack McCall has got to stop talking. Words have never failed him but now he has to think of alternate ways to communicate or his lifespan will rapidly shorten.
