Synopsis
THE THING ABOUT MY FOLKS is a semi-autobiographical film that Paul Reiser wrote specifically for his all-time favorite actor, Peter Falk.
A sudden family crisis throws a befuddled writer, Ben Kleinman (Paul Reiser) and his "loose cannon" dad Sam (Peter Falk) together for an unexpected road trip. Within a few days, family secrets are revealed and father and son discover more about each other than either would have ever dreamed of as well as enjoying their time together.
