Synopsis

A massive box office hit when released in Denmark last year, this English version of the animated feature has been adapted by BAFTA winning UK screenwriter Mark Burton (MADAGASCAR, WALLACE AND GROMIT: CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT) with lyrics by Willie Dowling and produced by acclaimed filmmakers Michael Rose (CHICKEN RUN, WALLACE AND GROMIT) and Martin Rose (HEART OF ME, LAWLESS HEART).

Terkel (Adrian Edmondson) is a nerdy teenager whose life seems to get more and more difficult. Terkel's mum (Olivia Colman) and dad are about to get married. His mum is so focussed on the impending wedding, fags and kinky sex that she has little time for Terkel right now.

Not only that but he's fallen out with his best friend Jason (Ben Bishop) his psychopathic Uncle Stewart (Johnny Vegas) has just sorted out two bullies who target Terkel. When their teacher meets an untimely death, the replacement teacher Justin (Toby Stephens) oozes charm which the girls just lap up. Fat Doris is Terkel' only admirer but to keep in with the bully boys he turns on her with disastrous results.

But Terkel's life takes an unexpected turn when he starts to receive death threats. Terkel's in trouble and his life is about to get even worse.
