Synopsis

Tobi (Robert Stadlober) and Achim (Kostja Ullmann) have been best friends for years. As cox and oarsman of a successful rowing team, they have won several cups in the past and are now looking forward to going on summer camp and taking part in the rowing competition.

Achim's girlfriend Sandra (Miriam Morgenstern) is on the girl's team and he's also looking forward to spending a week with her. Sandra's friend Anke (Alicja Bachleda-Curus) has hopes of pairing up with Tobi but all Tobi can think about is Achim and he's finding hiding his feelings is increasingly hard to do.

At the campsite they meet another team, the Queerstrokes from Berlin. Everyone's getting along well until they translate the word queer from the English.

As training resumes the tension builds as the assorted team mates find themselves dealing with their various needs and confusions. The pressure rises and then erupts as a storm breaks the night before the big race...
