Synopsis

STIR OF ECHOES is a classic ghost story. It concerns a married couple, Tom (Kevin Bacon) and his pregnant wife Maggie (Kathryn Erbe) who have a five year-old son Jake (Zachary David Cope). At a party Tom consents to Maggie's sister Lisa (Illeana Douglas) hypnotising him, and he starts to become perceptive to paranormal activity seeing the ghost of a teenage girl (Jenny Morrison) in his house.

He becomes fixated with these new experiences to the extent that he loses his job and ignores his family and friends, but only his son Jake seems to understand because he too is susceptible.

This is the second movie from director, David Koepp, the first was THE TRIGGER EFFECT.
