Synopsis

"A secret affair. A ruthless betrayal."

Escaping a loveless marriage, Raymond Yale (David Roberts) pursues an affair with the beautiful and troubled Carla Smith (Claire van der Boom). When Carla offers Ray the chance of them starting a new life together, he's plunged into a dilemma, as the money is the proceeds of Carla's controlling husband's latest crime.

This is their chance t take the money and run... If only it were that simple.

Fearing he will lose Carla, Ray hatches a plan and hires a professional arsonist Billy (Joel Edgerton) but it all goes awry. Then the first blackmail note arrives...
