Synopsis

SLITHER is and edgy blend of heart-stopping terror, wry humor and surpirising humanity from genre-bending screenwriter James Gunn (DAWN OF THE DEAD).

In the sleepy, quiet town of Wheesly something unnamed and evil intent upon destruction has arrived... and is growing. The friendly folk who mind their own business don't seem to take any notice when telephone lines become clogged with flyers or Grant Grant (Michael Rooker), the town's wealthiest resident' begins to behave is an odd out of character way.

Not until farmers' livestock are found horribly mutilated and a young woman disappears is it that Sheriff Bill Pardy and his team mobilize. With the help of Grant's wife Starla (Elizabeth Banks) they uncover the dark force invading their town when they confront an older-than-time organism intent on absorbing and devouring all life in its path...
