Synopsis
Fans of the slasher movie genre are in for a treat with the release of teen movie SLASH. This gory movie laden with macabre humour pays homage to teen flicks such as SCREAM and SCARY MOVIE.
Directed by Neal Sundstrom and written by Stephen Ronald Francis and Gus Silber, SLASH stars FORSAKENS' James O'Shea (Mac), REMEMBER THE TITANS' Craig Kirkwood (Keith), Zuleikha Robinson (Suzie), Steve Railsback (Jeremiah), Dave Dukas (Rob), Nick Borain (Billy Bob) and Danny Keogh (Jethro). Compelled to leave his red neck home in River Valley with his mother at a young age in a cloud of mysterious circumstances, Mac is a member of the rock band Slash, a group on the verge of success. The band members are firm friends, and more importantly, they have become his surrogate family since the death of his mother. However, Mac is forced to confront his personal demons and return home following the death of his aunt. Mac and the band attend the funeral but end up staying at his ancestral home Macdonald Farm longer than they envisage. Is there a curse on his family and what is the deadly secret of Macdonald Farm and his sinister grandfather?
A bloody tale of teen angst, rock music, rotting corpses and inbreeding, SLASH is a shocking, fun and entertaining movie with many chilling and thrilling moments. It will appeal to a teenage audience and horror aficionados alike.
