Synopsis

The new wild comedy SLACKERS follows the often outrageous antics of college roommates Dave, Sam and Jeff who are about to graduate with honours in 'lying, cheating and stealing'! Unfortunately they are threatened with exposure by the university nerd 'Cool Ethan' who promises them he'll let them off the hook on one condition - that they use all their unethical expertise to set him up with the brainy and beautiful babe Angela. Unfortunately for Ethan, things don't go exactly as he had planned...

SLACKERS features a bright cast of rising stars; Devon Sawa (FINAL DESTINATION) who takes the role of Dave, is joined by Jason Segel (DEAD MAN ON CAMPUS) as Sam and Michael Maronna (HOME ALONE 2: LOST IN NEW YORK) as Jeff. Jason Schwartzman, who made his celebrated debut in the cult hit RUSHMORE is 'Cool Ethan' and Angela is played by supermodel turned actress James King (PEARL HARBOR, BLOW).

SLACKERS is directed by first time feature director Dewey Nicks and produced by Neal Moritz and Erik Feig (I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, I STILL KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER). The screenplay was written by David H Steinberg, who co-wrote the storyline for AMERICAN PIE 2.
