Synopsis

In the remote countryside of southern France the fragments of a troubled family reconvene as seen by the youngest child, Aurelie. The unexpected return of Aurelie's uncle after a fifteen-year absence eventually brings to the surface the threads of loyalty that underpin the family but also the violence underlying its tenuous existence. With a story reminiscent of Wim Wender's PARIS, TEXAS but having an individual style, this is the directorial debut of the award-winning French director, Helene Angel.
