Synopsis
SISTERHOOD is an irreverent, fun and quirky comedy about two sisters from very different worlds. Catherine (Isabelle Defaut) is a sophisticated British middle-class woman living in London, enjoying fancy parties and an affair with a married man.
This is all set to change when an uncouth Kiwi, Shirley, turns up claiming to be her sister! Both women must put their differences aside and navigate their way through the spider web of secrets surrounding the identity of their father (Nicholas Ball). Along their journey they discover many things, but most importantly they discover their 'Sisterhood'.
Written by New Zealander, Emily Corcoran (who also stars as Kiwi sister, Shirley), this film is light and heartwarming, displaying family values at their best.
