Synopsis

Simon Magus is written and directed by first time director Ben Hopkins, whose previous short films have won numerous awards, and produced by Robert Jones, whose credits include the Oscar and BAFTA winner The Usual Suspects.

Simon Magus is a magical fairytale set 100 years ago in Silesia, a land as unforgiving as the Wild West. It is the tightly-woven story of an outcast; a tale of love and longing of intolerance and taboo, and triumph in the face of tragedy.

Starring: Ian Holm, Rutger Hauer, Noah Taylor and Stuart Townsend. Directed by Ben Hopkins. Produced by Robert Jones. Channel Four Films, Hollywood Partners, Lucky Red, ARP and the National Lottery through The Arts Council of England present a Jones Company Production.
