Synopsis

Michael Caine plays Billy "Shiner" Simpson, an East End Londoner with a reputation as a hard man who is now a boxing promoter representing his son Eddie "Golden Boy" (Matthew Marsden). With Eddie about to take part in a crucial fight his dad Shiner is faced with the prospect of being arrested by one of his daughters Georgie (Frances Barber), for having organised an illegal fight and events spiral very bloodily out of control.
