Synopsis

The 10th anniversary re-release, THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION is based on a Stephen King novel and is the story of Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) a bank vice-president who is imprisoned for the murder of his wife. Despite protesting his innocence he is imprisoned and has to adapt to the horrors of life in prison until Ellis Boyd 'Red' Redding (Morgan Freeman) befriends him.
