Synopsis

Shortlisted for Cahier Du Cinema's "Film of the Year" and a sensation at the Rotterdam Film Festival, SECRET THINGS is helmed by veteran director Jean-Claude Brisseau. Starring Sabrina Seyvecou (COCKLES & MUSSELS), and told in voiceover by her character Sandrine, this delectably twisted fable of office politics and male-female power games centres on two penniless but shapely young women who set out to better their social station through seduction and sexual manipulation.

SECRET THINGS is the story of two young women at the bottom of the social scale who discover the power of sex to get what they want. Beautiful but inexperienced Sandrine (Sabrina Seyvecou) falls under the spell of stripper/performance artist Nathalie (Coralie Revel), under whose supervision she quickly rises to become the assistant of a to executive, Delacroix (Roger Mirmont), at a Parisian bank. Sandrine easily overcomes the will of Delacroix, but it is in the inscrutable and handsome son of the boss, Christophe (Fabrice Deville), that Sandrine finds the dark nexus of power and desire.
