Synopsis

Xavier is Back!

We find him 5 years later after L'AUBERGE ESPAGNOLE and he is now 30 years old. He has realised his childhood dream, has become a writer, but he still seems a little lost. Earning a living by writing is not that easy and he has a few problems with his bank. Xavier also has trouble settling down with a girl - he has one meaningless encounter after another. He lines up a confusing, array of jobs relating to writing - he's a journalist, a ghost writer, a soap opera or a screenwriter for junk TV series. He does what he can, meaning that he's a little messed up...

Divided between his ex-girlfriend, his mother, his short-lived romantic dalliances and his lesbian pal, Xavier finds it hard to get his work done, which is conceiving and writing a simple, normal love story...
