Synopsis

Welcome to a very special late-nite edition of FrightFest Presents! Tom Noonan (MANHUNTER, MONSTER SQUAD) guest stars as eerie narrator the Horror Host, who lets the "bat out of the bag." Listen closely to hear the terrifying tale of four pals who venture off the blood-red highway to take a desolate short cut for their friend's wedding weekend. Only a spooky DJ keeps them company on that Halloween night. Four crosses on the roadside go unnoticed.

A violent collision totals their ride forcing the squabbling friends to search for help at an apparently abandoned farmhouse. But soon, one friend is claimed after the other by someone, or something, sinister in the barn...

Eagerly-awaited horror movie THE ROOST arrives at the ICA, London on 13 January 2006 and DVD from 27 February 2006 on a wave of acclaim in America. In keeping with the cult horror style he loves so much, Ti West and company shot THE ROOST on night time locations in Wilmington, Delaware and Kennett Square, Pennsylvania in October 2003. Production wrapped in only two weeks.
