Synopsis

Carolyn (Christina Ricci) lives in a perfect world but this bubbly, college sorority girl with her perfect tennis pro boyfriend meets a young disabled guy, Pumpkin Romanoff (Hank Harris) when her sorority helps his team out with their intramural activities. Against all the odds and her own fixed, intransigent outlook she finds herself drawn towards Pumpkin and she starts a relationship with him in preference to her 'perfect' boyfriend all her friends would date given half the chance.
