1957 Monterrey, Mexico

With the help of an aspiring coach, Cesar (Clifton Collins Jr) nine youngsters train for a real Little League game and defying a lack of resources, disapproving parents and widespread prejudice succeed to clinch their first victory in the US and start them on the road on a once-on-a-lifetime journey.

Along with the support of a warm hearted priest, Padre Estaban (Cheech Marin) the team manages to secure an incredible, historical, winning streak that takes them all the way to the 1957 Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA, ultimately changing the boys' lives forever.

Based on the true story of the 1957 Monterey Industrials Little League team, written by W William Winokur, THE PERFECT GAME stars Clifton Collins Jr, Cheech Marin, Emilie de Ravin with Lou Gossett Jnr and Bruce McGill and Mexican star Patricia Manterola.
