Synopsis
Set in the desolate desert, the story begins as a modest tale of teenage rebellion.
Eidak, a 17 year-old shepherd, dreams of a life far removed from the one he lives and knows longing for a change in his life and some excitement. He yearns to make the long journey to the Emirates, with its promise of employment and prosperity. But before he can leave, he must balance his commitments to his family, his responsibilities as a shepherd and promises to his friend. It is a simple premise yet revealing about the complexities that befall any plan. The film gracefully unfolds with increasing ethical complexities. thus leading to an unexpected and heartbreaking final choice.
