Martin (Elijah Wood), a young American graduate moves to Oxford to study mathematics at the city's university under the guidance of the prestigious Professor of Logic Arthur Seldom (John Hurt). Based on the Argentine author Guillermo Martinez's 2003 award-winning novel, THE OXFORD MURDERS is cult director Alex de la Iglesia's (CRIMEN FERPECTO, LA COMUNIDAD) first English language film. Starring Elijah Wood (THE LORD OF THE RINGS), Academy Award®-nominee John Hurt (THE ELEPHANT MAN) and Goya nominated Leonor Watling (HABLE CON ELLA) with Julie Cox (THE RIDDLE), Jim Carter (THE GOLDEN COMPASS) and Anna Massey (upcoming LOVE AND VIRTUE)
