Synopsis

On the death of his father, Adam Jasinski (Jakub Tolak) decides to leave his home country, Poland, and travels to England where his brother Jan (Przemyslaw Sadowski), a keen footballer who never went 'professional', works in London as a builder on various construction sites around the capital.

Pleased to be reunited with his brother, Adam is shocked but sympathetic when he finds out Jan has become involved in human trafficking and brings illegal workers from Eastern Europe to the giant construction sites in London.

As he struggles to make his own way in London, Adam meets and falls in love with the beautiful Lithuanian Anna (Alexis Raben), who works at a fish and chips stall. However, when one of Jan's workers dies on a site Adam has to make a decision: Is he going to abandon Anna and save his brother from prison or will he abandon his brother and start a new life with Anna?
