Synopsis

One tells the dramatic story of two young men whose life long friendship deteriorates as their lives follow different directions.

When Charlie (Jason Cairns) is released from prison, he moves in with his best friend, Nick (Kane Picoy), a once promising baseball player whose career was abruptly cut short after he knocked out his manager. Now working as a garbage man, Nick projects a sense of indifference to his lost dream, but it's clear that his father won't let him forget; nor can he so Charlie's return is a welcome relief.

Charlie discovers his inherent self worth when he commits to a job, college and even love, and simultaneously Nick descends onto a path of dissatisfaction and frustration. Charlie and Nick drift apart, and this only heightens Nick's loneliness and absent sense of purpose.
