Synopsis
Professor Sherman Klump is getting married. And the Klump family could not be more delighted. His fiancee Denise is thrilled to become a Klump, and with her appetite she?ll fit right in; Mama thinks it?s fabulous; Papa?s less grouchy; Granny?s relieved that Sherman, at long last, will soon be enjoying the pleasures of intimate relations; Ernie?s belligerence has been momentarily simmered, and Ernie Jr simply can?t wait to feast at the wedding except Buddy Love.Having done his best to keep Buddy buried in his subconscious, the portly and painfully shy professor is horrified to find him resurfacing in untimely outbursts, and threatening his marriage plans to colleague Denise Gaines (Janet Jackson).
Using Denise?s cutting-edge DNA research, Sherman decides to rid himself of his monstrous nemesis and his disruptive outbursts, once and for all, by extracting Buddy?s DNA from his system. But Buddy Love will not go quietly. He bursts full-bodied into Sherman?s world and lays claim to the professor?s astounding invention which is a revolutionary youth serum that can turn back time temporarily, taking years off one's appearance and restoring vitality and thus an extremely lucrative commodity.
Sherman hides the serum at home for safety but it is discovered by members of his own family and Buddy is hot on the trail sneaking into the Klump family home when Denise's bachelorette party is in full swing and steals it. And so begins a race against time as Sherman battles to reclaim his formula, restore order to his family, and marry the woman he loves... before all hell breaks loose.
