Synopsis

Written and directed by Henry Bean - THE BELIEVER which depicted a young Jewish man who became a neo Nazi - his second feature deals with another fanatical individual.

Tim Robbins plays successful New York lawyer David Owen who is incensed by the continual level of noise generated by car alarms constantly going off. It becomes an obsession with him, interrupting his sleep spoiling his enjoyment of listening to music and even making love.

Feeling increasingly compelled into acts of retaliation and random violence much to his wife, Helen's (Bridget Moynahan) consternation, it ultimately leads to direct confrontation with the city's arrogant mayor, Mayor Schneer (William Hurt).
