Synopsis

Nim's Island is a special place for a young girl Nim Rusoe (Abigail Breslin). Growing up in a tropical paradise she lives there with her father Jack (Gerard Butler) and leads an adventurous life that mirrors her hero Alex Rover, the fictional hero of a series of books penned by reclusive author Alexandra Rover (Jodie Foster).

An adventure comedy, NIM'S ISLAND is about becoming the hero of your own story. While a lonely Nim embarks on the biggest challenge of her life to date to locate her missing father, she turns to her fictional hero for help and instead crosses paths with novelist Alexandra Rover when she responds to her plea and ventures out of her city apartment and isolated existence.

Now they combine forces and have to find the strength to save Nim's Island.
