Synopsis

Directed by: Jonathan Demme who accompanies Neil Young in May 2011, as he drove from his hometown Ontario to downtown Toronto in a 1956 Crown Victoria. Performing in Toronto's iconic Massey Hall for the last two nights of his solo world tour, Neil Young recounted insightful and introspective stories from his youth to filmmaker Jonathan Demme.

Demme and Young previously collaborated on two other documentaries, NEIL YOUNG: HEART OF GOLD, which chronicled Young performing in Nashville, the year after he survived a brain aneurysm and NEIL YOUNG TRUNK SHOW, which memorialised a Pennsylvania concert during Young's "Chrome Dreams II" tour.
