Synopsis

When Nancy Drew (Emma Roberts) accompanies her father (Tate Donovan) on a business trip to Los Angeles, she quite by chance unearths evidence linked to the death of a beautiful, former movie star that happened years earlier but the crime has remained unsolved. Set against the backdrop of the fast living, self-indulgent world of Hollywood, Nancy's resourcefulness is challenged as she perseveres with her investigation.

Based on characters developed by the late Carolyn Keene otherwise known as Mildred Wirt Benson, she was the author of over twenty Nancy Drew Mystery Stories.
