Synopsis

Georgina Scott (Heather Graham), a broody 33 year-old, is craving so much for a baby of her own that it begins to cloud her judgement. Unhappy that her partner Zak (Tom Ellis) doesn't share her motherly desires she decides she wants some space in her life. For his part Zak is leaving to shoot a documentary and hopes that she'll have cooled off when he returns.

However when Georgina discovers that early menopause runs in her family, she heads for a specialist with her reluctant best friend Clem (Mia Kirshner) for support. When her gynaecologist advises her that her next menstrual cycle will be her last, Georgina enlists the help of Clem and their camp pal, Justin (Orlando Seale), to make the most of it.

Panicking at the prospect of never experiencing the birth of her own baby, a battle plan is drawn up, but their escapades become increasingly frantic and elaborate as Georgina explores internet sperm donors, night clubbers, builders and funeral-goers in her desperate and hilarious attempts to beat the biological clock.
