Synopsis

"The most terrifying ride you'll ever take."

Based on British author Clive Barker's short story 'Midnight Meat Train', this horror flick unfolds when a struggling New York photographer Leon Kaufman's (Bradley Cooper) latest project of capturing provocative, night time studies of the city and its inhabitants sparks the interest of a prominent art gallery owner, Susan Hoff (Brooke Shields). Susan encourages Leon to explore the grittier, darker side of humanity for his upcoming debut at her downtown art space.

A compulsive photographer, Leon seizes the opportunity to advance his career with increasing obsession and takes up his latest challenge of capturing the sleazy, unseen nightlife of the city despite his girlfriend Maya's (Leslie Bibb) unease and concern for his safety.

Reconnoitring a subway station he crosses paths with a shady, ominous character, Mahogany (Vinnie Jones), who's a serial killer. Leon instinctively follows him and to his horror begins to uncover this man's deadly secret. He stalks late-night commuters then butchers them in the most gruesome ways imaginable.

As train passengers start to disappear, Leon becomes increasingly fixated with hunting down Mahogany. Following the trail of bodies left in the serial killer's wake Leon inadvertently pulls Maya right along with him into the depths of evil...
