Synopsis

Based on the 1949 manga comic book by Tezuka Osamu, Metropolis is a futuristic city populated by both robots and humans. However during an investigation by detectives Shunsaku Ban and Ken-ichi who are trying to trace the whereabouts of Dr Laughton - a rebel scientist who has designed and created a beautiful young girl called Tima - they uncover a greater threat to the stability of Metropolis!
