Synopsis

From veteran French director Claude Chabrol comes MERCI POUR LE CHOCOLAT a comedy thriller. Andre Polonski, a renowned concert pianist and widower, after his wife Lisbeth died tragically in a car crash, is remarrying a confectionary heiress Marie-Claire 'Mika' Muller (Isabelle Huppert). Andre's teenage son from his first marriage, Guillaume (Rodolphe Pauly), is the source of rumours among the Lausanne Society that the real child his mother gave birth to was a girl but the babies were switched at birth!

The 18 year-old girl called Jeanne Pollet (Anna Mouglalis) is a beautiful, gifted musician and she visits the Polonski's at their house one day where she notices how similar she looks to Lisbeth in the photographs she sees. What really did happen all those years ago?
