Synopsis

Set in Punjab against the backdrop of ongoing turmoil, an Army officer meets a local village girl who he falls for and marries. However their happiness is short lived and after the birth of their daughter, the mother tragically dies.

In an unfortunate twist of fate the baby is abducted and the father ends up incarcerated. When the army officer has served his sentence he resumes the search for his long lost daughter.
