Synopsis

Byron Tiller (Andy Garcia), a budding author, leaves his advertising job and takes a gamble to concentrate full time on his writing. However when his publisher rejects his novel, Byron tries to get his old job back but to no avail. Stressed out and desperate for a job to support his new family he ends up being recruited by an upmarket escort agency headed by Luther Fox (Mick Jagger).

He soon has a regular client, Andrea Allcott (Olivia Williams), who is married to the renowned author Tobias Allcott (James Coburn). Byron rapidly becomes involved with not only Andrea, but also her extrovert (and dying) husband. The ensuing twists create a playful ride that leads finally to more serious lessons on life and marriage.
