Synopsis
Bibiane Champagne (Marie-Josee Croze) has everything going for her as an heiress to her father's fortune and owner of an upmarket, stylish boutique. But things start to go wrong after she has an abortion. Still feeling emotionally upset she is driving along while under the influence of drink a few days later and accidentally knocks down a man, a fishmonger. Not stopping to help him she drives off into the night.
Consumed with ever increasing guilt over the man she killed she unsuccessfully tries to take her own life but fails and then decides to trace the man she killed. It's at the morgue that she meets the victim's son, Evian (Jean-Nicolas Verreault) who needs her support while he sorts through his father's possessions and is the start of a relationship between the two but Bibi is hiding a deadly secret from him.
What's rather strange is that the film is narrated by a bloody, dying fish (Pierre Lebeau).
