Synopsis

Writer/director Jamie Thraves makes his feature-film debut with THE LOW DOWN, a wryly perceptive drama about growing up - when you're not even sure that's what you want to do. Aidan Gillen stars as Frank, a restless young man in his late twenties, whose life revolves around his friends and his work. He's aware of a need to move his life into another gear but he's not sure how. Some of his friends are already settling down - he knows he's expected to follow. Frank's indecision comes to a head when he becomes involved with Ruby (Kate Ashfield), whose optimistic approach to life begins to have a dramatic effect on him.
