Synopsis

LOULOU gave director Maurice Pialat his first international hit when it was originally released in 1980. Now being re-released on a new print. Starring Isabelle Huppert as Nelly who enrages her drunken partner Andre (Guy Marchand) into a spontaneous violent rage when he sees her flirting around.

Nelly ends her relationship with Andre and instead takes up with Loulou (Gerard Depardieu) complately different to Andre. A love triangle ensues as Andre attempts to win Nelly back but she is determined to do things her way.
