Synopsis

Based on the famous children's books, by Dutch author, Hans de Beer, the story follows a Little Polar Bear, 'Lars' and his adventures as he grows up in the Arctic. Lars makes many friends along the way, including Greta (a polar bear), Chirp (a snow goose), Lena (a very clever hare), and a very unusual friend in Robby the seal.

Whilst encountering his new friends on his travels around the Artic, his adventures almost result in him leaving, when he gets stuck on an ice float heading into the vast open sea. After an exhausting trip home, he realises that all is not as it once was. The fish have all but disappeared from the hunting grounds of the seals and, soon it becomes clear that a large black ship, and ultimately humans are responsible. When his friends and family are taken, Lars has to take charge, and set them free, whilst trying somehow to save his world from destruction
