Synopsis

Based on the book "Tell Me A Lie" by Jang Jung Il that was banned in Korea for its pornographic content, the movie LIES, tells the story of Y (Tae Yeon Kim), an 18-year-old girl ready to explore her sexuality, and J (Sang Hyun Lee), a married 38-year-old sculptor who is excited at the chance to help her lose her virginity. They soon progress into an obsessive relationship weighed down by guilt, lies and S & M.

This highly erotic movie from director Sun-Woo Jang is shot in documentary style using a hand held camera and unprocessed background sound.
