Synopsis

LEFT LUGGAGE is the story of Chaja (Laura Fraser) an outgoing, philosophy student set in the 1970s in Antwerp, Belgium. She becomes a nanny to a 5 year-old boy Simcha (Adam Monty), from an Hassidic Jewish family. Though their lifestyle is alien to her she adores her charge and through the family she is employed by she learns about the difficult life her parents (Isabella Rossellini and Jeroen Krabbe) had who are Holocaust survivors.
