Synopsis

With the disintegration of the Roman Empire imminent, Romulus Augustus escapes from the city and resolutely sets out on a dangerous journey to Britain.

Once there he aims to find supporters for a cause of action that will culminate in the formation of the last legion, as it is galvanized into action against the enemy.
