Synopsis

Bill Williams (Tom Arnold) is a down and out actor who is unexpectedly hired to write a sequel to TRUE LIES, the action film that made him famous more than ten years ago. However Bill's co-star Aaron Rowan (Eric Gores) is a rich kid with virtually no acting experience, so instead of this becoming the chance for a major comeback for Williams it turns into a series of outlandish complications.

From the director of WAYNE'S WORLD, THE KID & I is a unique and inspiring comedy loosely based on a true story. The film is written by Tom Arnold and co-stars Linda Hamilton, Henry Winkler, Joe Mantegna, Shannon Elizabeth, Richard Edson, Brenda Strong and newcomer Eric Gores with cameo appearances by Arnold Schwartzeneggar and Jamie Lee Curtis.
